Email content from within PSIsafe Desktop to Microsoft Outlook

You can email documents directly from within PSIsafe Desktop using the email export function. To email a document out of PSIsafe Desktop:

  1. Locate the document and select it by clicking the line item. To select multiple documents, press the Shift or Ctrl key on the keyboard, then click the appropriate items.
  2. Click the Tools menu button and click Email.

    The PSIsafe Desktop Email Documents screen appears.

  3. Select the Zip Actions if required.
  4. The default Subject of an email sent from PSIsafe Desktop is "Emailing Documents."

    You can change the subject in the Email Documents window. To include a folder index, use <Idx#>, where # is the index number. To include the file name, use <fn>. Click the i button to see an example of using the current document's file name and the content of the first index.

  5. Click Set to apply the <fn> and <Idx#> items for the current email and save the subject entry for future use in that cabinet.
  6. Click Compose Message.

    A new Microsoft Outlook email window appears. Type the addressee's email and text of your message, and then send your email. A copy of the email is saved in your Sent items folder.

    To add multiple documents to the Email Documents queue, drag selected items from PSIsafe Desktop to the Email Documents window. To remove a file, click Remove Item.

    To add documents from multiple folders to the email, minimize the window, open the other folders, and drag selected documents to the Email Documents window.
