Bundled documents

The PSIsafe Desktop workflow pane offers various functions related to the workflow of bundled documents. For example, you can add more documents to a bundle of onboarding documents, remove an erroneous document and replace it with the correct version, or add and remove documents from bundles sent to users through workflow routing.

Add documents to an existing document bundle

To add a document to a bundle:

  1. Click on the existing bundled workflow item.
  2. Select a document in the bundle that is in the same folder where the new document is located, and right-click the selection.
  3. Click Add New Document(s) to Bundle.

    The folder is opened. Documents are added to the existing bundle.

    Added documents must be located in the same folder as an existing document in the bundle.

  4. Select a document to add to the bundle.
  5. Click OK.

    When you add a document to the bundle, a trace entry is also created.

Remove documents from a bundle

To remove a document form a bundle:

  1. Click the bundled workflow item.
  2. Select and right-click the document to delete.
  3. Click Remove Document(s) from Bundle.

Set Retention and Security to documents in a bundle

The Set Retention\Security option enables you to apply retention or security settings to individual documents within the bundle or the entire bundle in a single process.

To set Retention and Security on a document bundle:

  1. In workflow, select bundled items for which you want to set Retention or Security.
  2. Right-click any of the selected documents and select Set Retention\Security.
  3. Select the preferred Security and Retention options.
  4. Click Set Security or Set Retention to apply the settings.

    You can apply settings to multiple documents. To select multiple items, use the Shift or Ctrl keys.
