Create an AI Agent workflow
Using AI Agent, you can create a workflow rules, conditions, sub-processes, branching rules, and end nodes.

On the
AI Agents page, select
Create new AI Agent. The
TotalAgility Studio
AI Agent page opens in a new browser tab.
Alternatively, select New if you are on the AI Agent list page.
The AI Agent workflow designer opens.

- Create variables
- Update workflow settings
- Configure AI Agent workflow
- Add key data

A red dot on a tab indicates the configuration is incomplete or invalid.

Save or publish the AI Agent workflow solution.
To save the workflow solution, select Save.
The workflow solution is saved in the current user's working category with version 0.01 (minor version). You can change the category if needed. See Update workflow settings .
To publish the solution, select Publish.
The following items are created and released.

The AI Agent workflow solution released with a major version 1. You can use the released solution in your business activities.

The AI Agent business process is released, and work type, work queue queries, and job queries are generated.

A form is created with a Generative AI chat control, in which, header and provider are set to the name of the workflow solution, and search type is set to Generative AI.
- In the
TotalAgility Advanced Studio:
- Under , the configured AI provider is added.
- Under , the released process is listed in the TotalAgility Studio solutions dialog box under DocAI, Workflow, RPA and AI Agent.

All the artifacts are named based on the AI Agent workflow name with a suffix of the item name. For example, for QAIagent1, the new form is generated and saved as 'QAIagent1.form'.
If a process, form, work type, work queue query, or job query exists with the same name, you must enter a different name.

An audit log entry is recorded.

Close to close the workflow solution.
On confirmation, the AI Agent workflow is closed.
