Add an Email node

You can easily send an email from within a workflow solution.

Procedure

  1. On the Workflow tab, select below the RPA node or any other node.

    By default, a Start node and an RPA node are added in the Designer area.

    The Add activity dialog box is displayed.

  2. To add E-Mail node, select below the RPA node.

    By default, a Start node and an RPA node are added in the Designer area.

    The Add activity dialog box is displayed.

  3. On the Type list, select Email. (Default: Task)

    You cannot add an E-mail activity if the SMTP server is not pre-configured.

  4. By default, "e-mail" appears as the Title. You can change the title as needed.
  5. In the To field, enter an inline value or select a variable.
  6. In the Subject and Body fields, enter a combination of plain text and variables.
  7. Select Add.

    The e-mail is added, and the updated properties are displayed in the properties panel.
