Manage Business Data

On the Business Data page, you cannot create new business data but modify the business data associated with a business rule type.

Modify business data

You can modify business data by updating its value, even without having Designer or Business Rule access control list permissions.

Procedure

  1. On the Business Data page, select the item (such as a Flow rule) within which you want to modify the business data value.
    The item opens in a new browser tab. A list of business data associated with that item is displayed.
  2. On the context menu of the business data to modify, select Edit.
    The Edit business data dialog box is displayed.
  3. Modify the value as needed.
  4. Select Save.
    Saving the business data only updates the data value and does not update the version of the business rule.
