Modify a workflow solution in TotalAgility Advanced Studio

You can modify an AI Agent solution (a solution created in TotalAgility Advanced Studio >Workflow) using the "Edit in advanced mode" option available on the AI Agent designer in TotalAgility Studio. Once the solution is modified, you can switch to the AI Agent designer using the "Edit in TotalAgility Studio" option in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio.

The option to switch to the AI Agent designer is not available if you are editing a standard process.

You can open an AI Agent solution in TotalAgility Advanced Studio and make the following modifications:

• Add any node type to an AI Agent solution in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio and save or release the process without breaking the solution. However, any unsupported nodes added via the TotalAgility Advanced Studio appear read-only in AI Agent.

• Modify a work type. When you reopen the solution in the AI Agent designer, the AI Agent solution is automatically updated to reflect the changes:

  • A message appears stating "The work type associated with the process has been modified since the process was last saved, the process is automatically being updated to reflect these changes."

  • Newly added fields are automatically added to the key data and the removed fields are removed from the key data for the solution.

  • The variables added to the work type in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio are available in the AI Agent. However, any unsupported variable types appear read-only in AI Agent designer.

• Any states added in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio are available for use in AI Agent; however, you must know that they exist and their correct names.

• Add notes in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio and AI Agent designer.

• Create data models in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio and use them in AI Agent designer.

• The document sets, roles, milestones, and process events are not available for use in AI Agent designer but any of these items added via the TotalAgility Advanced Studio and configured for activities are retained when the solution is re-published.

• All items generated when the solution is published are listed within the solution associations as hyperlinks. You can open and edit these items in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio.
