Add a Design

Use the Design activity to request any design changes. This request can be viewed and implemented in the TotalAgility Advanced Studio.

Procedure

  1. On the Workflow tab, select below the RPA node or any other node.

    By default, a Start node and an RPA node are added in the Designer area.

    The Add activity dialog box is displayed.

  2. On the Type list, select Design. (Default: Task)
  3. By default, "Design" appears as the Title. You can modify the name for your design as required.
  4. You can provide a note in the Implementation note box.
  5. To display the data when you are executing the Design activity, do the following:
    1. Select Add for Display data.

      The Add variables dialog box is displayed.

    2. To add variables from an existing list, select the variables as needed.

      Alternatively, create a new variable if the required variable is not available. Select and in the New dialog box, create variables as needed. See Create variables.

    3. Select Done.
  6. Similarly, to enter the data when you are executing the Design activity for Requested data, select Add, then select the existing variables or create a new one.
  7. Specify a State to apply when the task becomes available or is pending.
  8. Select Add.

    The design node is added, and the updated properties are in the properties panel.
