Manage a workflow

You can modify, delete, and lock or unlock a workflow and view associations for it from the workflows list page.

Delete a workflow

You cannot delete a workflow that has live jobs associated with it.

  1. On the RPA Workflows list, on the context menu of the workflow to delete, select Delete.

  2. On confirmation, the selected workflow is deleted.

When you delete a workflow from RPA, the process is also removed from the TotalAgility Advanced Studio System settings.

Lock or unlock a workflow

Locking and unlocking of a workflow apply only to the workflow, form (if the workflow is published), and the business process. You cannot lock or unlock work types, work queue queries, or job queries.

Once the workflow is published, it is locked by default. To unlock it, on the RPA Workflows list, on the context menu of the workflow to unlock, select Unlock. To lock it again, on the context menu of the workflow, select Lock.

View workflow associations

Associations provide visibility across the entire application, helping you to manage and maintain your workflows efficiently. The associations of a workflow depend on its state. For an unpublished workflow, you can only view business processes associated with it. For a published workflow, in addition to business processes, you can also view form, work type, extraction group, classification group, work queue, job queries, and any form associated with the application.

On the RPA Workflows list, on the context menu of the workflow to view associations, select Associations. The items that are using the selected workflow appears.
