Update workflow settings
You can update the workflow settings, such as category and landing page, and specify who has maintenance access for your workflow solution, on the Workflow Details tab in Workflow, without navigating to TotalAgility Advanced Studio to update these settings.

The Workflow settings dialog box is displayed.
- On the Category list, select a category to store your workflow and associated artifacts. (Default: Working category)
- On the Landing page list, select an alternative form to be used within the Workspace when using your solution.

- Select OK.
Who can modify this solution
By default, the Everyone group can modify a solution. However, you can control who can modify your workflow solution, for example, if you do not want to expose your solution or do not want anyone to change it. You can provide access to individuals and/or groups. If the required group is not available, you can create a new group.
Maintenance access is set on all supported items generated on publish.
To provide access to existing individuals and/or groups, perform the following steps:

- On the Name list, select the individual or group name.

On the
Type list, select the access type required:
Full control
Resources with this access type can create and modify the solution and restrict the access permissions.
Read write
Resources with this access type can create and modify the solution, but they cannot change the access permissions.
Read
Resources with this access type can only view the solution, but they cannot create or modify it.
If you do not have permission, the solution is not available on the solutions list.

Add.
Add more individuals and groups as needed.

OK.
To edit the access, select the individual or group, select , make changes as needed, and select OK.
To delete the access, select the individual or group, select , and select OK.
To create a new group, perform the following steps:

Select New Group. The New Group dialog box is displayed.

Enter a name for the group.

Select Add to add group members. The Add group members dialog box is displayed.

Add individuals and/or groups as needed and select Done.

Select Save to save the new group.
You can only open a solution if you have the required access permissions.
You can delete the solution only if you have "Read write" or "Full control" permissions.

Who can use this solution
By default, the user who is creating the solution can use the solution. You can control who can use the workflow solution at runtime, for example, if you are creating a solution for a specific group or do not want others to have access to it.

The Add dialog box is displayed.

Add individuals and/or groups as needed.
You can provide access to individuals and/or groups. If the required group is not available, you can create a new group. To create a new group, perform the similar steps mentioned for Who can modify this solution.

When you publish the solution:

The query is configured to grant functional access only to the resources specified in the "Who can use the solution" section. The resources listed under "Who can use the solution" will have maintenance access. The change to the solution permissions ensures the queries generated by TotalAgility Studio are not available to everyone by default, which prevents the query list from becoming unnecessarily long.

Only the selected groups or individuals get the functional access permissions (Create, suspend, terminate, restart, place on hold, view job details, change scan/VRS profile, change separation settings) for the generated process. For others, the Workflow card is not available on the Workflow page in the TotalAgility Workspace.
