Add or edit databases

You can add a new database to PSIsafe Desktop at any time. To do so, you will need a registration code from Tungsten Automation Support.

The Connection Settings and Registration window appears. Enter the following parameters.

• Database alias: Name of the new database to be registered that appears in the Connect to field in the login window.
• SQL Server: IP address and instance of the SQL Database. Can be an IPv4/SQL Instance name or IPv6 (Machine Name)/SQL Instance.
• Database: SQL Database name.
• Credential type: Select SQL.
• User name: For the SQL database, enter sa (system administrator), as PSIsafe Desktop requires system administrator rights to make changes to the database.

On the PSIsafe tab, enter the following.

• Customer name: Name of the organization.
• Customer code: For on-premises installations, set default.

Click Save to apply the changes.
