Assignments

In this section, you can set the following options.

  1. Select which user groups, if any, the user should be a member of. To do so, in the Groups: Member of section, select the preferred group and click Add.

    To remove a user from the group, select a group from the list on the right side of the screen and click Remove.

  2. Add the user to the Workflow: Manage section. Select the tab and add the users for which the created user is allowed to manage Workflow items. If this user does not manage Workflow items, leave this section blank.

    If you do not include a user in the Workflow management section, it does not prevent the user from receiving Workflow items. It prevents them from performing management functions in the workflow management inbox, Workflow > Rules > Management. See Workflow management.

  3. Set up restrictions for the Workflow and Scheduler.

    This capability restricts what is displayed on the list when a user routes or schedules an item in PSIsafe Desktop.

    To enter restrictions:

    • Select the Restrict to: User\Group List tab.

      If the list is left blank (default), all users and groups are available on the list to Route or Schedule assignments.

      If you add users and/or groups, only the added items are available on the user's list to Route or Schedule assignments.
    • Select the Restrict to: Rule List tab and follow the same procedure to restrict what rules should appear on the user's list of rules.
