Content managers

Content managers are programs associated with specific file types, designated by their extensions, such as PDF, PNG, TIF, and so on. These programs vary, depending on your specific business practices and software preferences, and help PSIsafe Desktop load the proper application when you attempt to preview or edit your content. To access the Managers page, you must have the required permission under Management within your user profile (User Settings), or log in as the system administrator.

The Managers homepage displays a list of your content managers by name, and their associated program paths in two columns. To search for a specific manager in a long list, use the Quick Search field at the bottom of the screen. To add or edit content managers, perform the following actions. To remove a local manager, click Delete.
