User settings

Log in to PSIsafe Desktop Management as Administrator and click User Settings > Users. This area includes two sections: Users and Groups.

PSIsafe Desktop supports two kinds of users:

• PSIsafe Desktop Users

  PSIsafe Desktop users are based entirely within your PSIsafe Desktop installation and are stored within your associated SQL database. These user profiles are not affected by Windows user profiles.

• Windows Users

  Windows users are selected from the Active Directory Server user list. User names in PSIsafe Desktop user profiles must match exactly the Windows user name and the PSIsafe Desktop user name to function correctly, including automatic login based on the Windows profile and password syncing.
