Notifications and alerts

The Notifications and Alerts tab enables the administrator to set up email options to work with the PSIsafe Desktop workflow. PSIsafe Desktop customer's internal IT with knowledge of the email system being used within your organization can provide these settings. An SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server is the address of an email server that can be used to relay email messages from the PSIsafe Desktop workflow engine.

The workflow frequency settings are used to tell PSIsafe Desktop how often to check for new workflow notifications and send them out through email. The rule alerts notification is used as the delta time between checking workflow rule alerts. The time units are in minutes. If set to 0, the notification is disabled.
