Register PSIsafe with Microsoft Entra ID
After completing the registration process of PSIsafe Desktop within the Azure Portal or Microsoft Entra admin center, PSIsafe Desktop can be authenticated through PSIsafe Management to enable Microsoft Entra ID functionality in other areas of the product, such as user accounts.
Follow the steps below to register PSIsafe Desktop with Microsoft Entra ID:
- Launch PSIsafe Management and sign in with the system Administrator account.
- Select Microsoft Entra ID from the left navigation menu.
- Input your Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client Secret within their respective fields.

Under the
Login Option section, select the option that corresponds to your company's
compliance policies:

Users can login with both Local User and Entra user: Users can log into PSIsafe Desktop with either a locally-managed PSIsafe User account configured in PSIsafe Management, or a locally managed PSIsafe Management User account associated with a Microsoft Entra ID.

Users can login with Local User if they have not been linked to Entra user: Users can still log into PSIsafe Desktop with a locally managed PSIsafe User account while other accounts associated with a Microsoft Entra ID are active within the installation.

Users can only login with Entra user: Users cannot log into PSIsafe Desktop with a locally managed PSIsafe User account. They must log in with a Microsoft Entra ID already mapped in PSIsafe Management > .

Under the
Azure Environment section, select the option that corresponds to your
company's current domain configuration:

Azure: Your installation uses the standard Azure Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID authentication system.

Azure US Government: Your installation uses a Federated Identity infrastructure and requires additional layers of approval for application access.

Click
Save to complete the registration process.
A dialog window appears stating "Options saved!" to confirm that the settings were saved.
