This predefined zone recognition profile is specialized to recognize general alphanumeric machine print using the RecoStar recognition engine. This can include common word processing and printer fonts.

This profile is configured to use the Machine print Type, the Numeric Content type and its Trigram mode is set to "Repair". All other RecoStar zone recognition profile settings use their default values.

Use this profile to recognize and extract machine printed alphanumeric characters using the RecoStar recognition engine. For example, a print out from a web form contains field labels and field values using two different fonts. The labels use Arial and the values are in a mono-spaced font. Since this predefined recognition profile is customized to expect general machine print fonts, the extraction results using this profile can be more successful in recognizing the different fonts than the other profiles.
