DB Export Settings - Header Table tab

Use this tab to configure the database header table export information for an invoice.

This tab is available only when the Active setting is selected on the DB Export Settings - Main tab.

Important Any changes made to these settings are applied to new documents only. Documents that are already in-progress use the settings that were in-place when their processing began.

The following settings are available.

DB Header Table

The name of the table in the database where the header fields are inserted.

DB Header Key

The name of the column in the header export database table that represents the key field for the header record.

DB Header Operation

The operation that is performed on the database record. If set to INSERT, the system inserts a new record. If set to UPDATE, the system updates an existing record with the same database key.

The value for this setting is set to INSERT by default.

The following buttons are available for the above settings.

Save

Saves your changes and the window is closed.

Reload

Deletes any unsaved changes and resets the field values back to the last saved settings.

DB Header Mappings

This table lists the header mappings for database export and has the following columns.

Field Name

The name of the field.

DB Column Name

The database column that represents the field when exported to a database.

Note If a field is listed and there is no database column mapping, that field is not exported. You can remove a database mapping as needed.

The following button is available to edit table entries.

Edit

Opens a selected entry in the table so that you can make changes as needed.

Click to open the DB Header Mapping - Edit window.

Add

Adds an entry to the table.

Click this button to open the DB Header Mapping - New window.

Delete

This button is available when an entry with an export mapping is selected only. Removes the export mapping for the selected entry.
