Routing Options window - Vendor Groups tab
When you want to assign all invoices from a particular vendor to a specific coder or exception handler, you can do this by creating vendor groups. These vendor groups enable you to add one or more vendors and then assign invoices from those vendors to specific users.
A table with the following columns lists the groups.
- Group Name

A name to reference a group of vendors.
- Description
-
A description of this group.
- Exception Handler Name
-
The name of the user who handles exceptions for this vendor group.
- Invoice Coder Name
-
The name of the user who codes invoices for this vendor group.
Below the table is an entry line with the same settings as the table. Below this entry area are the following buttons.
- Add
-
Adds a vendor group to the table.
- Update
-
Saves any changes made to a table entry.
- Delete
-
Removes the selected vendor group from the table.
Below the vendor group table is the Vendors table where you can add vendors for the group selected in the above table. This table has the following columns.
- Vendor Name
-
The name of the vendor.
- Description
-
A description of the vendor.
- Vendor ID
-
The unique ID used by the vendor.
To aid in adding vendors, you can search for a vendor based on the name. Below this table are the following buttons.
- Vendor Search

Opens the Vendor Search window where you can search for a vendor and then add it to the list of vendors for the selected group.
- Add

Adds an vendor to the table.
- Delete
-
Removes the selected vendor from the table.
The following button is at the bottom of the page.
- Close
-
Closes the Routing Options - Vendor Groups window and returns you to the Business Unit: New or Edit window. Any unsaved changes are lost.
