GL code history clean up

Even if you specify how long unused GL codes are retained, it is still necessary to set up a scheduled job so that the history database is purged.

You can set up a regular job so that it regularly cleans up the GL code history database by following these steps.

  1. Launch the TotalAgility Designer
  2. On the navigation pane, click System > Job schedules.

A list of Job schedules is displayed for the Default Category.

  3. From the Category list, select AP Agility.
  4. On the Job schedules pane, click New and then add the following information.
    1. Enter a Name for the job schedule. For example, GL Code Purge.
    2. Select Active.
    3. Select the Process list, select the AP Agility category, and then select AP Purge GLCode History.
    4. Optionally, set the other settings.
    5. Click Save.
Your job is scheduled so that unused entries are removed from the GL code history database and the New job schedule window is closed.
