Invalid Reason Text Settings

These settings hold the invalid reason text settings that may be set by a Validation Activity user during production. It is possible to add multiple entries for these settings. As a result, the settings are displayed in a table.

Important Any changes made to these settings are applied to new documents only. Documents that are already in-progress use the settings that were in-place when their processing began.

The following column settings are available.

Text Element ID

This is a read-only ID that is created by the system when an invalid reason is created.

Language ID

The language ID for the invalid reason texts. Because of this, the Text Element ID is repeated once for each language. All default invalid reason texts are provided for all five of the supported languages.

Display Text

The invalid reason text displayed in the Validation Activity. The default invalid reason texts are localized for each supported language. If you add additional texts, you much provide translations for any other languages that you support.

The following buttons are available at the bottom of the window.

Edit

Opens a selected entry in the table so that you can make changes as needed.

Click to open the Invalid Reason Text Settings - Edit window.

Add

Adds an entry to the table.

Click to open the Invalid Reason Text Settings - New window.
