Delete a database

Use the procedure in this topic to delete a database.

The best practice is to remove unused databases from your project to ensure there are no unused or obsolete database cluttering up your project.

If a database is removed from a project, the database itself is not deleted. For local fuzzy databases, you can manually remove the associated *.csv or .txt file if they are not being used by another project.

Procedure

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Select the Databases tab to view the databases settings.
  3. On the list of databases, select the database you are deleting.
  4. Select Remove Delete icon.
  5. When prompted, select Yes to confirm the deletion.
  6. Optional. Select OK to close the Project Settings window.
  7. Save the changes to your project.
