Delete a classification instruction

Use the procedure in this topic to delete an instruction.

Delete unneeded classification instructions from your project to avoid unnecessary processing.

Procedure

  1. In the main Transformation Designer window, hide or close any windows that block the Ribbon.
  2. Open the Documents window if it is not already open.
  3. Open the Project Tree window if it is not already open.
  4. Expand the Project Tree and select the class.
  5. Optional. View the class contents if they are not already displayed.

    The hidden class contents are displayed.

  6. In the Project Tree, select Instructions Project Tree - Instructions icon for the selected class.

    A list of instructions is displayed in the Details window.

  7. Select the instruction to delete.
  8. On the Design tab, in the Edit group, select Delete Delete icon.

    The deletion is saved automatically.

  9. Optional. Remove additional instructions.
  10. On the Project tab, in the File group, select Save Project Save Project icon.
