Delete a zone

Use the procedure in this topic to delete a zone.

If a zone is no longer required, the best practice is to remove it from your project. This ensures that your reference document is not cluttered with unnecessary zones, and other users do not mistake it as a valid zone.

Procedure

  1. Open the locator properties.
  2. Select the Zones tab.
  3. Select the zone that you are deleting.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. Select Yes when prompted to delete the zone.

    The zone and any associated subfields are deleted.

  6. Select Close to close the locator properties window.
  7. Save the changes to your project.
