Delete a string substitution

Use the procedure in this topic to delete a string substitution.

Since string substitutions can be deleted in both an Address Evaluator and a Local Fuzzy Database, you need to first open the relevant properties window before you can delete a string substitutions.

Procedure

  1. Open the relevant properties window that contains the list of string substitutions.
  2. In the list of string substitutions, select the row to be deleted.
  3. Select Delete Delete icon.
  4. When prompted, select Yes to confirm deletion.

    the string substitution is removed from the table.

  5. Optional. Repeat the previous steps to delete additional string substitutions.
  6. Optional. Select OK to save your string substitutions deletions and close the properties window.
  7. Save the changes to your project.
