Delete a subtree classifier

Use the procedure in this topic to delete a subtree classifier.

If you no longer need a subtree classifier remove it from the project. If you leave the subtree classifier in your project, your classification results are always evaluated using the unneeded subtree classifier, and can cause performance issues.

Procedure

  1. In the main Transformation Designer window, hide or close any windows that block the Ribbon.
  2. Open the Project Tree window if it is not already open.
  3. Open the Details window if it is not already open.
  4. Expand the Project Tree and select the parent class that has subtree classification enabled.

    The class details are displayed.

  5. In the Subtree Classification group, clear the Enable subtree classification setting.

    This change is saved automatically.

  6. On the Process tab, in the Train group, select Separation & Classification.

    If the Subtree Classifier is displayed in the list after training, repeat the previous steps to ensure that you missed none.
