Rearrange the field order in a field group

Use the procedure in this topic to rearrange the field order in a field group.

You can move a field within the hierarchy of a field group so it is positioned as required. However, you cannot change the order of fields within an inherited field group.

Procedure

  1. Expand the Project Tree and select the class.
  2. Optional. View the class contents if they are not already displayed.

    The hidden class contents are displayed.

  3. Select and expand the field group that has the field order that you are arranging.
  4. Select the field you are rearranging.
  5. On the Design tab, in the Edit group, select Move Up Move Up icon or Move Down Move Down icon to move the field to the required location.
