Enable automatic table registration

Use the procedure in this topic to enable automatic table registration.

To compensate for shifted or skewed documents automatically, use the Manual table extraction mode. You can improve results for inconsistent tables by enabling automatic table registration.

Procedure

  1. Open the locator properties.
  2. On the Master Item tab, in the Registration group, ensure the Automatic setting is selected.
  3. Optional. Modify the Minimum registration confidence value as needed.
  4. Optional. Modify the Maximum horizontal offset value as needed.
  5. Optional. Modify the Maximum vertical offset value as needed.
  6. Open a test document and select Test to test your settings.
  7. Optional. Select Close to close the locator properties window.
  8. Save the changes to your project.
