Remove a document set
Use the procedure in this topic to remove a document set.
If the custom document set you are working with is no longer required, the best practice is to remove it. The ensures that your list of document sets does not get out of hand, or is difficult to use.
Closing a custom test set does not remove the associated documents or images from the filesystem.
Procedure
- Open the Documents window if it is not already open.

On the list of document sets, select a document set, right-click, and select
Close on the shortcut menu.
The document set is removed from the list.
