Set a document set as the Table Extraction Set

Use the procedure in this topic to set a document set as the Table Extraction Set.

If you have a document set that contains documents that are more appropriate or suitable for table extraction training, you can specify that document set as the Table Extraction Set. This can occur if you import a training set from another project that has similar table extraction settings.

When you convert a document set to the Table Extraction Set, it is attached to the project automatically, and the old training set is no longer attached to the project. This means the next time you open your project, the new Table Extraction Set is displayed in the Documents window, and the old training set is no longer displayed.

Procedure

  1. Open the Documents window if it is not already open.
  2. Select the document set that you are making the new Table Extraction Set.

    The document set expands and the list of its document subsets is displayed.

  3. Right-click on the document set and select Use as Table Extraction Set on the shortcut menu.

    The document set icon changes to indicate that it is now the Table Extraction Set.

  4. Optional. Exclude one or more document subsets from the Table Extraction Set.
