Save an extraction benchmark

Use the procedure in this topic to save an extraction benchmark.

If you are not sure whether your extraction benchmark results are as good as they can be, save them, change your extraction configuration, and then run another extraction benchmark. After you have two saved benchmarks, compare them and determine whether your changes improve your extraction results.

Procedure

  1. Perform an extraction benchmark.
  2. Once the progress bar shows the extraction is complete, select Save.

    The Save Benchmark window is displayed.

  3. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name.
  4. In the Comment field, enter a description of any changes you have made in this benchmark so you can easily reproduce the results later.
  5. Optional. To ensure that this benchmark is always compared to other benchmarks, select the Baseline setting.
  6. Select Save.

    The benchmark is saved and the Save Benchmark window closes.
