Enable paragraph detection

Use the procedure in this topic to enable paragraph detection for your project.

In order to detect paragraphs for use in the Classification Locator or by script, it is necessary to enable paragraph detection.

Procedure

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Select the Recognition tab to view the recognition settings.
  3. On the right-hand side, select Paragraph Detection.

    The Paragraph Detection Settings window is displayed.

  4. On the Paragraph Detection Settings window, do the following.
    1. Select Execute paragraph detection during recognition.

      The Advanced Settings are now available for editing.

    2. Adjust the Vertical spacing as needed.
    3. Adjust the Horizontal spacing as needed.
    4. Adjust the Indentation as needed.
  5. Select OK to save your settings.

    Your changes are saved and the Paragraph Detection Settings window closes.

  6. Optional. Select Close to close the Project Settings window.
