Desktop Automation Service

Configure and use the Desktop Automation Service with Design Studio and Management Console to automate and run your robots on a remote computer. Remote Desktop Automation is only supported on the Windows operating system. Other system requirements apply.

• If the Desktop Automation Service is not installed, refer to Kofax RPA Installation Guide for requirements and instructions.

• After Desktop Automation Service is installed, refer to the Kofax RPA Desktop Automation Service Guide for configuration and management information.

• Prepare automation devices.

• Using the Requirements for automation device mapping, add or edit the automation device mappings.

  • Add automation device mapping.

  • Edit automation device mapping.

• Create the RoboServer Device mappings.

• Set preferences in the Design Studio Settings > Desktop Automation tab.
