Robot Editor
Use the Robot Editor to edit robots. When you open a robot, it appears in a new Robot Editor placed on a new tab. For a detailed description of the toolbar and buttons, see Toolbar.
- Editor for Robots
- The Robot Editor contains a workflow of steps, variables, expressions, and tree mode settings. Use the buttons on the toolbar below the menu to navigate through the steps of the workflow. Go forward in the workflow by using the Start Execution, Step Into, Step Over, and Step Out buttons. Pause or reset the execution of a robot. For more information, see Edit Robot.

The Robot Editor has two modes: design (default mode) and debug. Select a mode by clicking a mode button in the left corner of the Robot Editor. Depending on which mode you select, the appearance and availability of options vary.
For Basic Engine Robots, each view consists of subviews. For design mode, the following are the subviews:
When you work on a robot, various status messages appear in the bottom left corner in Design Studio. For the meaning of these messages, see Status Bar.
