Email Templates window

This window enables you to add one or more email templates. These templates are available to users if they click on the Send Email button when processing invoices in the following activities.

  • Coding activity

  • Approval activity

  • Exception activity

  • Line Pairing Exception activity

At the top of the window is a table of email templates. If you select an existing email template, the fields below the table are populated with the template details. These same fields are displayed when you click Add to add a new entry.

The following fields are available below the table for adding and editing an email template:

Setting

Description

Template Name

The name of the email template that is visible to users in the activities listed above. (Mandatory)

Description (Optional)

A description of the email template. This is for Administrators to differentiate the different templates. This description is hidden from the activity users. (Optional)

To

The email address that is displayed in the To field. (Mandatory)

CC (Optional)

The email address that is displayed in the CC field. (Optional)

BCC (Optional)

The email address that is displayed in the BCC field. (Optional)

Subject

The subject of the email. (Mandatory)

Body

The body of the email. (Mandatory)

The following buttons are available at the bottom of the page:

Save

Saves the changes made to the email template.

Any changes that are not saved or updated are lost.

Close

Closes the Email Templates window and returns you to the list of email templates.
