Document separation

When processing multiple documents in a single job, it is necessary to be able to identify where one document ends and another begins. This is done by document separation.

There are several different ways to ensure that documents are separated correctly in Kofax AP Agility. The most basic method is to limit the jobs to a single document but this is not always possible.

As a result, you can use one of the following separation methods.

  1. Use the existing document separation tools available in the Transformation Designer for the InvoiceProcessingAgility project.

  2. Build your own custom separation process that is maintained independently and integrates with Kofax AP Agility.

The advantages of using the second method include:

  1. The Document Review activity is available when needed.

  2. Users can use the Kofax AP Agility Scan form as usual.
