Document Variants
Document variants are how Kofax TotalAgility determines what fields are extracted and displayed during the Validation activity. These document variants are capture profile-specific, so multiple capture profiles means that multiple document variants are needed.
Document variants are created automatically whenever fields settings are updated or imported, or when they are required for the first time, shortly before the Validation activity step during processing.
If you copy a capture profile, associated document variants are created only when they are needed.
