Upgrade AutoStore to SQLite
When upgrading an AutoStore only deployment from the existing distributed database
to SQL you must uninstall AutoStore, and then perform a fresh installation in order to
complete the upgrade.
To upgrade the database, do the following:
-
Run the InstallAssistant application and select the Uninstall option when asked
if "ControlSuite is already installed on this system. What would you like to
do?" At this point, all ControlSuite components along with configuration data
and Security FrameWork registrations are uninstalled and removed from the
server.
Select Yes on the Restart Required popup window. By default the Run Install Assistant after restart option is selected. Uncheck this option if you would like to install ControlSuite at a later time.
- After the system restarts, run Install Assistant again, and select to install AutoStore in a production environment. See Install AutoStore in a production environment for details.
-
Run the Configuration Assistant and select the "This is a single node security
framework deployment" option on the Authentication & Security page to
configure an SQLite database.
Enter the Security framework admin name and Password, Hostname and Datacenter name for the Security Framework Service.
- Continue with the rest of the configuration steps to complete the database upgrade. See Configuring ControlSuite for details.
