Create an extraction group

Create an extraction group to include one or more document types, add field groups to a document type, and add fields to a field group in a document type.

  1. Navigate to Capture > Extraction groups.

    The Extraction groups page appears.

  2. Click New.

    The Extraction group page appears in a new browser tab. Under the Design tab, an extraction group, Group 1 is created by default with a RootDocumentType.

  3. Click on the extraction group and configure its properties.
  4. Save or release the extraction group.

    You can only use the released version of an extraction group in a process.
