Configure the test data

Configure initialization data and activity data on the Test data tab.

You can provide the values to the initialization variables, configure how the manual or automatic activities are executed. The user can also update the output data and select the resource who will execute the activity configuration changes.

To provide activity data, do the following:

  1. On the test viewer, click the activity and then click Test data.

    The Activity configuration dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select Apply for all iterations to assign the data to all iterations.
  3. To skip the execution of activity configuration, select Skip execution.

    This option is only available when you configure the test data for an automatic activity.

  4. To configure resources for the activity, do the following:
    1. Click Configure for Resource data.
    2. Search for the required resources and drag them to the Selected Resources box.
    3. Click OK.
  5. To skip the runtime usable resource assignment, select Complete as system. (Default: Clear)

    This option is only available when you configure the test data for a manual activity.

    On executing the test data, the activity is completed by TotalAgility, otherwise, the activity is completed by the specified resource.

  6. To configure variable data for the activity, do the following:
    1. Click Configure for Variable data.
    2. Select the variable and specify the value.
    3. Click OK.

    The test data is added and can be viewed on the Test data tab.
