Configure a Job variable activity

Use the following procedure to configure a Job variable activity.

  1. Add an activity to the map.

    By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

  2. Change the default Name of the activity to something meaningful.
  3. On the Type list, select Other > Job variable.
  4. On the Process list, select the process for which to retrieve the process variable values.

    All the variables from the selected process appear under Job variables.

  5. On the Job ID list, select the variable (process or server) containing the job ID.
  6. To map a variable to the job variable, select the variable on the Mapping list.

    You must map at least one job variable.

  7. Click Save.
