Stop and start Kofax TotalAgility services
Kofax TotalAgility services include Core Worker service, Streaming service, and others. You must stop and restart TotalAgility services for certain changes to take effect.
Stop and start the Kofax TotalAgilityCore Worker service
The Kofax TotalAgility Core Worker service performs automatic activities, message import, job creation, and other scheduled tasks for TotalAgility.

Click
Start and in the Start Search box, type
services.msc.
The Services window opens.

Right-click the
Kofax TotalAgility
Core Worker service and click
Stop.
The TotalAgility Core Worker service is stopped.

To start the service again, right-click the
Kofax TotalAgility
Core Worker service and click
Start.
The Kofax TotalAgility Core Worker service is started.
Stop and start the Kofax TotalAgility Streaming service
The Kofax TotalAgility Streaming Service hosts the streaming service to import and export large amounts of data.

Click
Start and in the Start Search box, type
services.msc.
The Services window opens.

Right-click the
TotalAgility
Streaming service and click
Stop.
The TotalAgility Streaming service is stopped.

To start the service again, right-click the
Kofax TotalAgility
Streaming service and click
Start.
The Kofax TotalAgility Streaming service is started.
Stop and start the Kofax TotalAgility Application Pool
Click Start and in the Start Search box, type iisreset and click iisreset. The command window appears, and the Applications pool stops and starts.
When you start the Core Worker, Transformation and Export services, an entry is recorded in the Machine Names table per service (Machine ID, Machine Name and Service Type) and the status is set "active". When you stop the services, the status is set to "inactive". However, when the services remain inactive beyond the "Heartbeat inactive interval" (Welcome > System > System settings > System > General) the status is updated to "inactive".
