Configure a Design activity

Use the following procedure to configure a Design activity.

  1. Add an activity to the map.

    By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

  2. Change the default Name of the activity as required.
  3. On the Type list, select Other > Design.
  4. You can view a note provided by a TotalAgility Apps user or provide a note in the Implementation note box.
  5. To add variables as input to the activity, do the following:
    1. Click Add for Input variables.
    2. Select the variables. If the required variable is not available, you can create a new variable directly from the activity properties panel.
    3. Click Done.

    Similarly, click Add for Output variables to add variables as output to the activity.

  6. Save the process map.

    Depending on the selected mode, the level of detail is included in the documentation, all the configured settings are included when you select the developer mode, whereas, only basic information is available for the analyst mode.
