Create new case action

Configure a Create new case TotalAgility action for an event against an entity instance in the Dynamics CRM System. For example, set up the Create new case TotalAgility action for the Update event in the Dynamics CRM System. Similarly, you can set up a Create new case TotalAgility action for the other CRM events like Create and Delete.

On the
Dynamics CRM page, click the CRM system for which to configure events.
The Edit CRM system configuration dialog box is displayed.

Click
for
Events.
The New CRM event configuration dialog box is displayed.
- On the Entities list, select an entity.
- Select the Event for which to configure the TotalAgility action, such as Update.
- On the Action list, select Create new case. (Default: Create new job)

In the
Case field, select the case map on which to create a new case.
If the selected case map has any initialization parameters, the parameters appear under Initialization variables.

In the
Case reference field, select a dynamic value, or click
and enter a static value.
- To map the metadata to initialization variables, in the Value field of each parameter, select a dynamic value, or enter a static value.

Click
Save.
The configured event appears under Events in the Edit CRM system configuration dialog box. You can edit or delete the event.

Save.
When the entity instance is updated in Dynamics CRM, TotalAgility creates a case on the selected process map at runtime and displays the correctly populated variables.
