Create an entity instance in Dynamics CRM
Use the following procedure to add a Dynamics CRM activity for creating a new entity instance in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM. For example, a finance department might need a new CRM entity instance called Accounts.

Add an activity to the map.
By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.
- Change the default Name of the activity to something meaningful.
- On the Type list, select .

On the
Dynamics CRM list, select the CRM system.
All the entities associated with the selected CRM system appear on the Entity list.
- On the Action list, select Create (default).

On the
Dynamics CRM list, select the CRM system.
All the associated entities of the selected CRM system appear on the Entity list.

To get the unique CRM ID that is automatically created for the new entity instance in Dynamics CRM, select a process
or server variable for the
Instance ID.
Once the activity is completed, the mapped variable value is updated with the new entity CRM ID.

To add the attributes, click
Configure.
The Attributes dialog box is displayed.
- To specify new instance details, click and enter a static value or map process or server variable to the related attribute.

Save the process map.
Once the activity is completed, a new entity instance is created with the details specified in the Dynamics CRM.
