-

.

-
Click
.
The Add user permissions dialog box is displayed.
-
On the
Resource list, select
the individual or group whom to give permissions.
The Device Users and Designers groups are available by default with full access permissions to all Capture actions.
- By default, a resource does not have permissions to perform Capture actions. To assign permissions to an individual or group, select the check box for the Capture actions as needed.
-
Click
Save.
The Capture operations dialog box displays the resources and Capture operations. The check box (read-only) selected against an action indicates that the resource is given permission for that Capture action.
-
If a user is in multiple groups with Capture permissions, restricted access to an action in any of these groups takes precedence over access given for the same action in another group. This means if a user ABC belongs to Group1 and Group2, and Group1 is restricted to reject documents, but Group2 has permission to reject the documents, at runtime, the user ABC will not be able to reject the documents.
-
The access permissions set at the user level take precedence over the permissions set at the group level. This means if a user XYZ belongs to Group1 and Group2, and Group1 is restricted to reject documents and Group2 has permissions to reject the documents, but the user XYZ has permissions to delete documents, at runtime, the user can delete the documents.
-
- Repeat the procedure from Step 2 to Step 5 to assign permissions to other groups and individuals.
