Configure exception handling at the server level
You can configure exception handling at the server level.
-
Navigate to
.
The Process exceptions dialog box displays all exceptions.
-
To associate a process with a specific exception you can either select a process or create a new process.
-
To select a process to associate with the exception, on the Process list against the exception, select a process. For example, to invoke a process when an activity crosses the due date, select a process for the Activity Due (EXP0013) exception.
-
To create a new process for the exception:
-
Click against the exception.
The Create new process dialog box is displayed.
-
Enter the Process name.
-
Click OK.
The process name appears in the Process box.
-
Click Save.
The process map is created with the correct initialization parameters for the selected exception.
A synchronization node is created within the process.
When you associate a process map for any of the following exceptions, you can provide the Node Name as an initialization parameter (at the end of the current initialization parameters list). When the exception is raised, the correct node name is displayed along with the other initialization parameters under Initialization Data, at runtime.
