Properties of a separation profile

Use the following tabs to configure the properties of a Separation profile.

General

Use the following procedure to configure the General properties.

  1. Enter a Name for the separation profile, such as Invoice separation.

    The name cannot be more than 50 characters.

  2. Optional. Enter a Description for the separation profile, such as "Use this profile to separate invoices from other documents and place them in the Invoices folder. "

    The description cannot be more than 255 characters.

  3. Configure the separation profile for a Document or Folder.
  4. Click Save.

Resources

A resource with maintenance access permissions for the Separation profiles can add or delete resources or change the access permissions of resources to maintain the Separation profiles depending on the access types.

  1. Click the Resources tab.
  2. Click under Maintenance access.
  3. On the Name list, select a group or individual whom to assign access permissions.
  4. On the Type list, select one of the following options for access.

    Full control

    Users with this access type can create, modify, and delete the Separation profiles, and set and modify the access permissions for other users. By default, the Everyone group has Full control.

    Read write

    Users with this access type can modify the Separation profiles, but cannot change access permissions.

    Read

    Users with this access type can only view the Separation profiles; they cannot modify the Separation profiles or set and change access permissions for other users.

  5. Click Add.

    The selected individual or group is assigned the maintenance access to Separation profiles.

  6. Click Save.
