Configure a SharePoint delete item activity

Use the following procedure to configure a process, case, case fragment, or a business rule to add a SharePoint delete item activity.

  1. Add an activity to the map.

    By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

  2. Change the default Name of the activity to something meaningful.
  3. On the Type list, select Microsoft > SharePoint delete item.
  4. Configure the following properties.
    Configuration
    SharePoint site

    The location of the SharePoint site server and the TotalAgility Web service URL.

    Select target

    The target from which to delete the item. For example, under Shared Documents, select an item from the SharePoint Items list.

    Delete

    The item or folder to delete from SharePoint. (Default: Item)

    Name, Relative path and Unique identifier

    The name, location, and unique identifier of the selected item or folder. The name and location can be a dynamic variable (process or server) or a static value, but the unique identifier is a dynamic variable (process or server).

    • If you select a target under libraries, specify the document name, relative path, and unique identifier for the selected item or folder.

    • If you select a target other than the library, specify the item/folder name, and the unique identifier for the selected item/folder.

  5. Save the process map.
