Initialize a new database and upload reports

Use the cvc.exe tool to prepare the database and upload the Reports.

  1. Start a command prompt.
  2. Change the folder to the folder where you installed the KCM Repository Server.
  3. Execute the following command. 

     cvc reportsdump /cfg=<path to itprep.inifile>

    You can only see reports if one of your roles allows access to them. If you cannot see any reports, or you can see only some reports, check your authorization.

    Now you can open the client and start working with the new database.
