Uninstall KCM Control Center

This section describes how you can use RemoveControlCenter.exe to uninstall KCM Control Center.

RemoveControlCenter.exe is a command-line tool intended to remove a stopped KCM Control Center from the server. This tool resides in: <deploy root>\KCM\Programs\<version>\Management\Uninstall.

The tool removes all Windows services, installation files and registry entries of KCM Control Center. The other KCM components on this server (if any) will not be affected.

Requirements

Before running the tool, make sure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • KCM Control Center has been stopped, otherwise RemoveControlCenter.exe will not proceed.

  • The account used to run RemoveControlCenter.exe is included in the local Administrators group on the target server.

Parameters

This tool does not have any command-line parameters.
